Drool Inducing DuJour Fall Issue
September 12, 2013 in Just Saying by MG
I am still going through the 10 days of mail that accumulated while we were out. Within that pile of mail is a sub-pile of magazines and catalogs. Last night after dinner I decided to tackle that sub-pile. I grabbed the largest item, the DuJour magazine Miami Fall 2013 edition, and quickly ripped out its plastic cover. I knew. And immediately, and I am not exaggerating, I started drooling over page after page of fabulous red and non-red things that I want and that I cannot even dream of owning. Since the amount of drool inducing merchandise in the magazine is too large for one post, I am limiting the post to red things.
Take for instance the red Dior coat on page 27 of the print issue. On average, we have about three days of real winter in Miami. But, if I could ever own such a delightful coat, I would probably wear it throughout the complete Miami winter. Want to see the coat? Go to page 29 of the electronic issue or just stare at the photo below.
Forward to page 57 of the print issue for the Fendi Zebra boots. Is that red or orange on the boots? Does it really matter? I want; I want. Check them out below or go to page 59 of the magazine electronic issue.
So, I kept browsing and on a style board titled “Turning Heads” on page 60 of the print magazine, my eyes just locked on the purse with the two eyes. It is a Fendi mini-baguette that retails for $4,450. Where can I get $4,450 quickly? PLEASE TELL ME! I need this purse! Go to page 62 of the electronic magazine or see below so you can understand me. Maybe we can group-buy this purse and share it. I want it on Thursdays please.
And then, then I reached page 168 of the print magazine and the drooling almost caused me a coma. It is a Van Cleef & Arpels necklace from the Birds of Paradise Collection. Want more punishment? See page 170 of the electronic magazine or look below.
OK, so maybe tonight I will actually read the magazine.
