I want to show you some of the red art in my house.  This gorgeous piece is “Party Girl”, an original painting by Sister Raya (Lynda Morgan Smith) that I purchased on eBay a while ago.  I could not decide on a frame, so I “temporarily” attached it with Velcro to a blackboard from HomeGoods and hung it on my family room wall. The painting is still on the same wall and is still stuck to the blackboard. I like it just the way it is and exactly where it is at. “Party Girl” just makes me happy with her blue face and hair, her huge eyes, her RED lips and her little RED party hat.  And you can see that it is also the spot where I like to pin my favorite photos.

My recent search for Sister Raya on eBay did not produce any results but I did find her thru a quick internet search.  She appears to be selling her colorful creations directly through her website Raya Fine Art Gallery.
