Painted the Table in Red and Orange
June 21, 2013 in My house by MG
You are all very familiar with all those posts with projects with “before” and “after” photos. I am a fan and I could spend hours browsing through page after page of those posts. OK, so this post is similar to one of those before-and-after, but it is missing the “before” photo. I have completed various projects where I have painted old/vintage/ugly furniture in different colors, with the last project completed just a few weeks ago. But as you all know, I just launched RedOstelinda last month, and documenting these small projects was something I was really not doing. So, I really don’t have any before photos but I still want to show you photos of my “painted furniture” projects.
And today, it is just about this little table that I painted in a combination of red and orange. I got it at a garage sale for $5 and I didn’t have a clue where I was going to use it. It was such a bargain that I could not leave it behind. Then one day I decided that red and orange were “it” and that is the end of the story. The table sits in my son’s room most of the time, but I also use it as an extra table for drinks when we have company. And you will notice that I left the table with all its imperfections and the top a little on the rough side.
And one more thing before I sign off for the day and go on my merry way to enjoy my Friday, I promise to document all my future painting projects. Good night!
