It was crazy busy chaotic here last Saturday morning since we were planting Sylvester Date Palm Trees in our backyard. I took a lot of photos of the whole process and it is so exciting to see our yard coming back little by little. We still have to continue our “little project” by adding dashes of permanent red and other colors to the yard and by adding more palm trees and MAYBE (BIG maybe) some trees. We like the tropical look and the low maintenance aspect of the palm trees.

You saw the ugly chain link and the blocks?  Replacing the chain link and eliminating the blocks is a project for another year since it is not in our budget for now. You might ask, why are the blocks there? Well…it is that our beagles Rocky and Nina LOVE to escape and the blocks have been our “temporary solution” for many years now.  Anyway, here are some of the photos of the whole process.
