August 26, 2013 in Just Saying by MG

Do you all remember when the DANCE (RED), SAVE LIVES album featuring dance music artists such as Tiësto, Martin Solveig, Bingo Players and Dada Life was released in 2012 and made it to #1 in the charts in over 30 countries and was followed by a livestream on YouTube from the Stereosonic Melbourne festival in Australia on World Aids Day 2012 ? Here is a Youtube video about DANCE (RED), SAVE LIVES 2012 here to remind you.

This year, it is going to be even more amazing.  We all know that the next World AIDS Day is December 1, 2013 and The DANCE (RED) SAVES LIVES 2 album is in the works, but what can be more amazing than that? The opportunities that is also opening for art undergraduate and graduate students in competing for the design of the cover of the DANCE (RED) SAVE LIVES 2 digital album is what is making it all even more special. Both Adobe Creative Cloud and the legendary abstract street artist Futura have joined (RED) in the fight against AIDS: Adobe Creative Cloud is holding the contest and Futura will be collaborating with the winner of the contest in the final design of the album.

Check it out, see the competition rules as well as submitted projects at the Join (RED) website. The submission period is August 19, 2013 to September 13, 2013. I think we all can agree; to put your stamp in such a great cause is an opportunity of a lifetime.  As of 5 minutes ago, the website reflected 235 entries. Here is the video with Futura with more information about the contest.

Have a great Monday you all!
